What is Breathwork, Reiki, & Yoga?
Breathwork refers to a variety of intentional breathing techniques designed to enhance physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The breath is your superpower, present with you every moment of life.
When we experience trauma, it leaves an imprint on our muscles and nervous system, disrupting the natural flow of energy in the body. Over time, these blockages manifest as discomfort, disorder, or dis-ease. Often, we push these experiences aside, attempting to dissociate from the pain. However, unprocessed emotions remain stored within us, quietly impacting our overall well-being.
Through Breathwork, I guide you in using your breath to move and release stuck energy and emotions that may be holding you back from your fullest self-expression. While this process can feel challenging, it is profoundly transformative when done in a safe and supported space. Breathwork sessions empower you to tap into your inner vitality, release old patterns, and foster emotional healing.
Reiki is a practice of channeling universal energy to restore harmony and balance to your mind, body, and spirit. As a Reiki practitioner, I use gentle hands-on or hands-off techniques to help you access this healing energy. Reiki supports the release of blockages, restores your body’s natural rhythms, and helps address the roots of imbalance.
Reiki is especially beneficial for athletes, aiding in recovery from injuries, reducing inflammation, and improving overall physical performance by balancing the body’s energy systems. For those undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, Reiki provides a non-invasive and deeply soothing complement to medical treatments. It helps ease emotional stress, alleviate physical discomfort, and promote relaxation, allowing the body to focus on healing.
Yoga integrates breath, movement, and mindfulness to create a holistic connection between body, mind, and spirit. I am currently in training to become a certified Yoga teacher, and soon I will offer sessions designed to help you build strength, flexibility, and inner peace. Yoga will complement the healing work of Breathwork and Reiki, offering an additional pathway to find balance, regulate your nervous system, and deepen your connection to self.
