Tips for Your Session

At Confluence Breath & Bodywork, we want you to feel relaxed, prepared, and confident going into your session. Whether it’s Breathwork, Reiki, or Yin Yoga, here’s what you can expect:

Before Your Session

• Wear comfortable clothing – Loose, breathable fabrics are best.

• Hydrate well – Drink plenty of water before and after your session.

• Eat light – A light meal 1-2 hours before is recommended.

• Arrive with an open mind – Come ready to relax and receive.

• Bring a journal (optional) – You may want to write about your experience afterward.

For virtual sessions, ensure you have a quiet space, a yoga mat or cushion, and headphones if needed.

During Your Session

• Breathwork: You’ll be guided through a rhythmic breathing pattern while lying down. Expect to feel deep relaxation, emotional release, and clarity.

• Reiki: You’ll either sit or lie down fully clothed while energy is gently balanced throughout your body. Many experience a sense of warmth, tingling, or deep peace.

• Yin Yoga: Poses are held for several minutes to stretch deep connective tissues, allowing for a meditative and calming experience.

All sessions are tailored to your needs, and you are welcome to ask questions before we begin.

After Your Session

• Rest & reflect – Allow yourself time to process the experience.

• Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water to help your body integrate the work.

• Be gentle with yourself – Emotional or physical shifts may occur, and that’s normal.

• Journaling or meditation – Helps deepen your insights.
